MEDICO-LEGAL WORK
I started writing personal injury
reports as a senior registrar and when appointed a consultant took on medical
negligence work. I currently do an average of four reports a week approximately
half of which are for personal injury. Most of my personal injury reports are
prepared for the Claimant, but increasingly I am being instructed as a Single
Joint Expert.
I have attended courses on report
writing, Civil Procedure Rules and giving evidence in Court. My reports are
CPR compliant.
An appointment can usually be made
for an examination of the patient within a few weeks of receiving formal instructions.
The completed report is generally available within ten days of the examination.
I see patients in Blackheath. All appointments should be booked through my secretary
who can be telephoned (01689 832 432) between 0830 hours and 1230 hours during
the week.
